This Privacy Policy explains how Douvi NFC ("Douvi NFC", "we", "us", or "our"), a product of Douvi Labs, handles information when you use the Douvi NFC Android application.
1. Information Douvi NFC Processes
Douvi NFC may process the following information solely to provide app functionality:
- NFC tag content: information read from or prepared for an NFC tag, such as URLs, text, contact details, Wi-Fi information, email addresses, phone numbers, locations, custom NDEF records, or other content you choose to use.
- NFC tag identifiers and technical information: such as tag UID, supported NFC technologies, NDEF status, capacity, writable status, and related diagnostics. Tag UIDs may be displayed or used temporarily for safety checks, such as preventing accidental writes to the wrong tag.
- My Tags templates: templates you choose to save in the app for later reuse.
- App preferences: settings such as your selected app language, Expert Mode preference, local Pro-entitlement cache, and limited in-app state used to improve the app experience.
- Google Play purchase status: when you purchase or restore Douvi NFC Pro, the app receives purchase status and purchase-token information from Google Play as needed to grant and acknowledge your entitlement.
2. What We Do Not Collect
Douvi NFC does not require you to create an account. The current version does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or a Douvi-operated cloud service for NFC content.
We do not collect your payment-card number, bank-account details, or other payment credentials. Payments for Douvi NFC Pro are handled by Google Play.
3. Local Processing and Storage
Core NFC operations are performed on your device. NFC content that you scan, create, write, copy, or verify is not uploaded to a Douvi Labs server by the current version of the app.
My Tags templates and app preferences are stored locally in the app's private storage on your device. Scanned NFC tag UIDs are not saved as part of My Tags templates.
Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app, subject to Android's normal device behavior.
4. Import and Export
Douvi NFC Pro may allow you to import or export template files. These actions occur only when you explicitly choose a file or destination using Android's system file picker. Douvi NFC does not automatically upload exported template files to Douvi Labs.
If you choose a third-party storage provider or another app through Android's system interface, that provider's own privacy practices may apply to the file you choose to store or open there.
5. Google Play Billing
Douvi NFC uses Google Play Billing to offer the optional Douvi NFC Pro lifetime purchase. Google Play processes the transaction. Douvi NFC may query Google Play for active purchase status, receive purchase-token metadata, acknowledge a completed purchase, and restore an eligible purchase.
Douvi NFC does not receive your full payment-card details. Google's handling of information is governed by Google's own privacy terms.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. The current version of Douvi NFC does not transmit NFC tag content, My Tags templates, or tag UIDs to Douvi Labs.
Information involved in a Douvi NFC Pro purchase is exchanged with Google Play only as necessary to provide purchasing, entitlement, acknowledgement, and restoration functionality.
7. Permissions and Device Features
Douvi NFC uses the Android NFC capability to detect, read, write, verify, copy, format, or inspect compatible NFC tags. The app may also use vibration to provide tactile feedback when a tag is detected.
Douvi NFC does not request broad access to your device storage for template import or export; file selection is handled through Android's system document interface.
8. Security
We design Douvi NFC to minimize data exposure by keeping core NFC processing and saved templates local. However, no device, software, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for reviewing the content you choose to write to NFC tags and for protecting any exported template files.
9. Your Choices
You control the information used by Douvi NFC. You can:
- choose whether to save a My Tags template;
- delete locally saved templates from within the app;
- choose whether and where to export a template file;
- clear Douvi NFC app data through Android settings; and
- uninstall the app to remove its local app data from your device.
10. Third-Party Services
Douvi NFC relies on Google Play services for optional in-app purchasing and may open Google Play when you voluntarily choose actions such as rating the app. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Douvi NFC evolves, including if we add new features, third-party services, cloud functionality, analytics, or other data practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page and make the revised policy available through the app and/or its Google Play listing.
